SIU@U 2015 brought you the first uT@lks by Prof. André van der Merwe from South Africa, who amazed us with his presentation on the first successful penis transplant—an idea sparked while harvesting kidney organs for a transplant patient. This soon became one of our most-viewed sessions on SIU@U. Prof. van der Merwe is back by popular demand to provide an update on the patient, and share the lessons he has learned since he began this journey.
