Visa Information

As visa requirements vary according to nationality, it is important to consult the nearest United Kingdom consulate or embassy, or your nation's foreign ministry website for your specific visa requisites.

According to the United Kingdom official website, depending on your nationality, you will:

  • have to apply for a Standard Visitor visa before you travel to the UK,
  • have to apply for an electronic travel authorisation (ETA), which allows you to visit the UK for up to 6 months without needing a visa,
  • be able to visit the UK for up to 6 months without needing a visa or an ETA.

The SIU does not have the authority to advise on, issue, or confirm visas or electronic travel authorizations. Applying early will help ensure that delegates receive their visas in advance of their planned travel dates, allowing time to address any potential delays or issues should they occur.
